By studying anatomy like this I hope my drawing style can become more convincing in the future.

In my attempt at expanding my imaginary "universe" I slowly illustrate every character, one by one in this book, not to have a final result or anything, just to have somewhat an idea of hat they look like.

I have had little time to draw (my own stuff) lately.
Been illustrating for customers and projects that I still can't reveal publicly so I scanned some characters that have been collecting dust in a pile I call the "Book project pile" this is where I gather all kinds of creatures, short stories, scenery, maps and sketches that all belong in my ever expanding universe!

All I really need to do is to start writing a proper story to set life into this universe of mine.

I'm not too happy about the outcome however I feel I mastered a few new elements to take with me.

I used Acrylic paper, uni pin ink pens and Winsor & Newton watercolor to make this conceptual illustration.

Took about eight hours from start to end.

I bought "How to draw comics the marvel way" So far it has helped me a lot in understanding the world of comic book creating.

This is just a mere sketch page to try out a workshop within the book.

I used two of the characters in my little project to see how they function within an actual comic and it looks like the characters fit pretty well for my idea.

I have been unable to draw anything lately so I decided to see if I could get some inspiration from trying out acrylic paint again.

The thing is I have no idea what I am doing anymore.

Earlier today I got the idea of illustrating what feelings may look like if they were almost supernatural, godlike characters.

I instantly pictured this character in my head and the final result became pretty accurate to what I imagined.

So this here is "Discomfort"

A couple tattoo inspired signs I made for a festival booth.

Hopefully we ave time to cut them out and paint them before the festival begins.

Couldn't decide witch one turned out best, all I know is that the sketch was better without paint and ink applied but one simply does not learn without experimenting with paint in different ways.

Result from my final exam in illustration.

I was supposed to illustrate a text I found pretty confusing and complicated but eventually I think my illustrative expression got slightly better from doing this project.

I am not sure what the english name for this beetle is but it was huge and fast and I found it in the basement.

I decided to make a pair of quick studies of the beast and I really like these rough results and I feel like studying other kinds of tiny garden creatures.

I was experimenting with ink, watercolor and cutting out doodles and pasting it all together.

Ended up with this strange piece of... art?

I did learn some fresh new techniques I want to try out later.
