More dragons because they are magnificent creatures!
I like love drawing in this style but I hope I can soon make something more than just sketches of dragons of it soon.

"Dangerous mushroom" was next on the list of random fun ideas and a judo tossing mushroom is not something one picks up without a fight.
This illustration was made quite quickly and I am pretty satisfied with it too, if I could go in and change something I would paint a better background and perhaps change the shadows on the hand a bit.

The half page illustration is done and now I can focus on the main cover of the magazine assignment.
I got a little lazy with the details in this one but the project is due soon and I have to hurry in order to make the last one be the best one.
To make this illustration of Hanzel & Gretel better I would make the door opening look more like a mouth as the mouth of the witch who wants to eat them, making a face out of candy on the top with frosting teeth, jellybean eyes and all including a better and perhaps colored candy texture for the house itself, but as I said, there just wasn't enough time to plan this out very well.

So today I got my hands on something I have wanted to try out for years, Super Sculpey.
The timing could not possibly be better as I am in the middle of a horror themed project, what could possibly strengthen my conceptual monster art than a real life model of one of my designs?
I had so much fun working with this clay and I know I will do more of this type of work later, if I had had better tools I think the result would be even better so until next time I will gather some real clay tools instead of homemade ones made out of sharpened brush ends and worn out scalpel blades taped to sticks.
Perhaps next time I could try making one of my old sketches into real life.
