This one is about our dialect being mocked and the way I feel on it our dialect is being tossed at sea by the rest of the country. So there's that.

Keep in mind that they only filmed the last part of my illustration process, the entire ideaprocess is, like, the most important part and that is not in the movie. 

My first ever proper attempt at a comic! 

I had about five hours to come up with something for Fredrikstad Blad, that was way too little time to produce something this new and unusual but I am satisfied that I delivered in time. 

Not many has their first comic printed in a newspaper I think! 

So, well, since it was valentines day I figured I'd make a comic about my beloved one.

Mothers day illustration for my local newspaper Fredrikstad Blad.

So. I finally got to hold the book I illustrated a while ago, never heard a word from the authors after I delivered the last one. Didn't even know the book got published, I just found it at random at the office where I work these days.

I thought seeing the physical manifestation of all the hard work would be a much more pleasant experience.

Oh well. I did ALL the beginners mistakes on the first book project, I won't ever do the same mistakes again.

Illustrators beware.

First of all MAKE A CONTRACT. A good one!

And NEVER do favors and extra stuff for free just to be nice. You shall have your share!

Yesterdays work at Fredrikstad Blad.

This "boat" was an illustration about a case where people fear for a bridge to collapse and isolate them on the "island" I'd say I found the solution to their problems? 

This was the quickest illustration I ever did, I was on my way home actually. It is about how my hometown loans more and more money while they are pretty much bankrupt.

Last week I started working in the office of Fredrikstad Blad, my local newspaper.

 I've been working for them freelance every now and then for about a year now but this time I am stationary with my own desk and all for four weeks of intense illustrating.

I am not quitting tattooing, I work there after I'm done here. 

I got two jobs and still can't afford food!
