Did some sketching while the paint on my exam was drying.
Really starting to enjoy playing around with these ink pens.

After doodling some sketches on a free paper sample I had to buy a whole block of these babies.
Amazing watercolor paper, really makes the paintings pop to life.

Can't wait to see what may come to life after spending some time and thought into an illustration on these sheets of gold.

The last illustration I make before the final exam at my school.
This is two test pages from the children's book I've been writing and illustrating for a couple of months now, a story about a boy who discovers a new perspective of nature.

The sheet of paper by the toad is where the actual story would be written down, unfortunately I have yet to write the story itself also these pages are actually just a test to see if the technique is the right one for this story and overall mood of the book.

I would love to spend days on drawing and painting these pages out but the time is up and I finished just in time.
It breaks me to not add more details, textures and paint but I will be working more with this style and book soon enough.

Trying out a variation of different sized ink pens.
This page is in A4 size.

Did a few changes and colored the last illustration.
It looks much more powerful now and after making 5 versions of this artwork I think this is the one I will print.

Death Grasp.
An illustration for a school assignment.
This took almost 7 hours from start to finish but the effect is pretty impressive I think.

I am almost satisfied with this artwork, what really bugs me is something I did not notice until it was done, the little finger. Something about the little finger is making a strange effect around the lower part of the hand, as if it is flat, yet has a 3D effect.... Also the skulls shading is completely unlogical, thanks to a mistake I made where I started shading at the wrong place, I had to try and repair the damage by adding a strange shading to the skull, however this shading gave the skull more contrast to the hand making it much more visible to the viewer.

All in all an ok illustration in my eyes.
Not perfect, not even close but I keep in mind that the hand is an incredibly complex subject to draw and therefore I give myself some credit for being so close to drawing a good hand, the proportion is there, its the dimensions I messed up.

I hope the drawing is at least illustrating a hand and a skull in the end.
